NIE PILNE: Wracając jeszcze do filmiku zrobionego przez SuperGamesTV, to na forum Deep Silver pojawiła się pełna angielska transkrypcja z sesji Q&A, którą przeprowadził redaktor Barlow z niejakim Patrickiem, Kreatywnym Producentem Sacred 3. Wszystko zostawiam w oryginalnym języku, ponieważ nie chce mi się tłumaczyć. :P

Q: What is the game, the genre, what to expect?
A: Sacred 3 is a "Hack & Slash" (sic) that focuses more on action and arcade than the previous games. Developed by Keen Games, not by Ascaron, which doesn’t exist anymore. We gave Keen the setting, characters and story and told them to create something new with it, something that is attractive to a wider audience.

Q: Do I need to know the previous games to enjoy Sacred 3?
A: Players who knew the previous games will recognize some things but there is no knowledge of the previous titles necessary to enjoy the game.


Q: Could you tell me more about the setting?
A: The game plays in the world of Ancaria, which is the world of Sacred where the different characters must defeat the evil emperor Zane who wants to get the 'Heart of Ancaria' (sic). The heart is a holy item that gives the whole world of Ancaria its energy and he wants to have it to subjugate all peoples of Ancaria (again, sic). That's why the different races (sic) who live in Ancaria gather to wrest it way from him.

Q: Okay, who am I?
A: You can choose one of four characters, in the first edition there will a fifth character available, the Malakhim. He appeared always in the previous Sacred games (sic!!!) but was always just said to be a legend and rumored to exist, he will be playable for the first time.

Here we have our four standard characters, this is Marak, who is more of a close combat fighter, the ranged fighter with bow and arrow, the Seraphim is a must have - a typical Sacred character which attacks in close and mid range with magic and the Ancarian, which is also more of a mid range attacker because she uses spears and lances.

I am now entering the game with the Safiri (Black Guy = Safiri = Safari? Racisim anyone? - ME) who is a pretty cool close combat fighter. [unintelligible]… Now there is a short intro which I skip, but as you can see, you will be directly booted into the game; there is no level select or map screen. And while we are here in the load screen, we could select our equipment, but we don’t have anything unlocked right now but it is there to reduce the waiting time.

Q: While I see the menus in the load screen, they look a bit joypad heavy, how does this look when I play this with mouse & keyboard and not a pad?
A: Of course the controls are converted for keyboard, but basically everything is made accessible like the saying goes (???). We are seeing now the first stage. This is Helios the city of the Safiri. The Safiri are sun worshippers that is why you can find sun symbols in many parts of the level. The character itself also has sun and fire attacks.

Q: We have a complete isometric view with fixed camera or can you turn / zoom out?
A: The camera sometimes zooms out on its own so that like in God of War you have a view from the sight to show more from the scenario, but basically the camera stays in the isometric perspective.

Q: You made a new character, right? This is a level one character, right?
A: Correct, this is a level one character.

Q: When I read this right in the corner it says P1, so does this mean player one? How many people can play together?
A: That is right, two players can play locally or four people online. This also means that two people on one couch can arrange with two other people on a different couch online so all four can play online.

Q: Are the characters saved online or will they be saved locally?
A: Characters are saved locally. This means, for example that if we would play local coop you could join and your character will be scaled to my character level. But if we would play online you could join my level 10 character - for example - with your level 20 character.

Q: Go kill some things!
A: That’s what we are doing now. Every character does have certain standard attacks that can be performed. These can be linked together like here.

Q: Are there HP bars on enemies?
A: Depends on the enemy. The smaller ones can be defeated very easily, but the bigger the enemies get, then there will be HP bars. We will be going to see this in time as the game progresses. There is also an attack like this, which can be charged. You can grab enemies and then pummel them as long as they are grabbed, or which is a very cool feature, you can throw them into other enemies. This is a very cool move for multiplayer because one player can grab an enemy, throw it at the other player, who then can finish the enemy.

Q: What are the other UI elements I see, besides the character portrait? Level/XP I guess?
A: Exactly, the blue is XP, and then there is the green bar which is health, and what we seeleft, I mean below, the yellow bars - that is mana. Mana is collected by (uhhhh…) collecting yellow orbs, and every character has individual attacks. Every character has seven from which you can choose two or equip them, always a light and a heavy attack. With him right here it is this fire breath and a stomp attack. These can be leveled up over the course of the game so you can make them wider or spit farther (sic!) … or faster stomping.

Q: But basically I play with two attacks?
A: Exactly, two standard attacks plus those two combat arts, like we call them. These are joined by special coop moves we may also see. If you want you can join the game now.

A: (Smiles) You press Start and to the right you see a selection where you can freely select a character.

A: Excellent choice.

A: Bang! You’re in the game!

Q: Where am I?
A: You are the one with the yellow circle. You – you are now a ranged combat fighter.

Q: How do I attack?
A: A is standard attack, with X you can charge.

Q: How long do I have to charge my attack? How do I can tell if it is charged?
A: You will notice that.

A: Exactly. You will have an even brighter effect, and then it is fully charged.

Q: Makes it sense to use that over the normal attack? Besides de-shielding?
A: It is weaker than the standard attack but can be leveled up over the course of the game.

Q: But the others too?
A: Yes – all of the attacks can be leveled. Basically everything in the game can be leveled up. The armor, the weapon…

A: No, this was not meant to be an execute. If it was there should have been a skull.

Q: But there was a red skull above…?
A: Yes, but that was for a power move is this case. What now happened is that we unlocked our first weapon spirit. That is some sort of loot we have in the game. Over the course of the game there will be more unlocked randomly, the more actions you do in the game. And you can equip those on your weapons. These will give you a buff. This right here for example gives a chance of 10 % to unleash chain lightning on attack on the next opponent. At the same time get 20% less mana from mana orbs. So you have to decide which weapon spirit you want and discuss with your team with which pros and cons you can live. They also comment the game play; every weapon spirit has its own personality. Q: So, the whole game is mission based. What is there to do if I have played all missions?
A: I can show you that, I will leave the game for that. And we jump into a different save state I have created previously. There we have a character that is already on level 9.

Q: What is the max level?
A: Up to level 25 basically. But we might raise that in the future. What we can show here for a moment is the ability screen where we can select the different combat arts. These are essentially the different magic skills every character has. And each one has its own skill tree. Once you have put points into a skill you can change that at any time (Diablo 3 anyone? - ME). So if put points into AoE damage but you realized that is not your play style, you can revert that and assign points differently, so you don’t have a disadvantage. Every skill has its own stats like damage and so on and, like I said its own skill tree. And this also applies for example to the armor. At the moment there is only one armor unlocked. Q: We also have nothing picked up, have we? I mean I looted nothing.
A: Exactly, sometimes messages pop up like we have seen with the weapon spirit: “You have found a weapon spirit!” or when you level up that is displayed and tells us: “You have found a new weapon” which you can then buy for gold you collected in the level. Here we can see the different weapon spirits I have already unlocked with a level 9 character, have already played through some stages. And they can also be leveled.

Personal notes:

I apologize if not everything makes sense in the translation, but the developer likes to babble a lot of
bullcrap and some of it hardly makes sense in German. Something else I noticed while translating this is
that the developer also uses a lot of English buzzwords such as patterns, accessibility, random or health bar.

For all of these words perfectly fine German counterparts exist. He also said on multiple occasions “attacken”
and “equippen” which is neither English nor German, because it is a mixture of an English verb and the German
form of the present tense. This is commonly referred to in Germany as 'Denglisch' and not really a sign of
great literacy. Really makes me scratch my head how this guy ended up as creative producer of Sacred 3.

MNIEJ PILNE: W dniu dzisiejszym (17 lipca 2014) Deep Silver opublikował nowe krótkie wideo CGI traktujące o Rywalizacji Kooperacyjnej w Sacred 3. Nie jest one niczym wielkim, co najwyżej kolejnym, humorystycznym zwiastunem trzeciej części. ^^

DS na YouTube napisał/a:

NIE PILNE: Przedwczoraj (22.07.2014) pojawiła się druga część filmiku zrobionego przez SuperGamesTV. Jest to ciąg dalszy sesji Q&A, którą przeprowadził redaktor Barlow z niejakim Patrickiem, Kreatywnym Producentem Sacred 3. Oczywiście dla znających język niemiecki, reszta może pooglądać fragmenty z rozgrywką. :P Czy będzie transkrypcja z drugiej części filmiku? MNIEJ PILNE: W związku z trwającym w San Diego Comic-Conem 2014 w sieci pojawiły dwa kolejne filmiki z Sacred 3. Jeden to zwykły gameplay a drugi to gameplay z komentarzem kreatywnego producenta Sacred 3.

Pierwszy z nich to ponad 13-minutowy gameplay z Sacred 3 przedstawiający grę Safirim i Serafią. Została też przedstawiona walka z bossem.

Drugi filmik to 17,5-minutowa filmik będący przeplatanką gameplayu i wywiadu z Kreatywnym Producentem Sacred 3 Sebastianem Reichertem. Filmik dostępny po angielsku. Nie jestem pewien czy zostało tam powiedziane coś nowego, jakby co to proszę pisać. :)

PILNE: Wczoraj na Facebooku udostępniono wizerunki i krótkie opisy tzw. Duchów Broni. Najciekawsze jest jednak to, że większość tych duchów to nawiązania do postaci z poprzednich dwóch Sacredów, jednak głównie z S1, np. Gladiator, Mroczny Elf czy Wampirzyca. Z S2 jest w sumie tylko Driada.

Hipokryci z DS, całych postaci nie mogli przenieść do Sacred, ale jakieś pierdoły to z nimi robią. :P Nie ważne, poniżej zamieszczam wizerunki wraz z imionami i krótkim angielskim (nie tłumaczyłem ich, gdyż po prostu nie mam chęci do tego) opisem z FB:
